Thankful Thursday

God will not permit any troubles to come upon us, unless he has a specific plan by which great blessing can come out of the difficulty. ~Peter Marshall

~I am extremely grateful for God answering my prayers for providing Maria with a forever family. Thankful for all the people who have stepped up especially Stephanie and Patti to raise money for Olga to find her forever family!

~Alayna's recovery went SO smoothly. Seriously, she was happily eating goldfish 4 (ok, maybe 3 days) after surgery. She didn't complain at all, she just would tire out more quickly and she had a couple nights where her sleep was restless but, overall she breezed through with flying colors.

~The past few weeks have been stressful for Aidan, with Jason working longer hours for the Christmas rush, Alayna's surgery and me not being home. I am thankful that he has continued to do well at school and praying that he continues.

~Thankful for a new DSLR camera. Our old point and shoot that we bought when Aidan was born died last week. Now to figure out how to use it...

~Thankful for Alayna's continued progress. She is standing more and walking more with her sure steps, she is using more sounds and words and is addicted to books even more than goldfish (seriously I love it but, where do you draw the line and make her go play with toys. LOL), she has a great sense of humor and finally she is doing great with using the potty.

Your turn...what are you thankful for this week?

What wonderful things to be thankful for!! I can't wait to get my DSLR camera for Christmas!!

This week I've been really thinking about how healthy Lily has been in her short 2 1/2 years of life. I'm so very thankful for that!

Maria finally has a family? I'm so happy, I've been wondering for so long why no one has picked that angel child! There's still one perfect for you though. My hubby would be glad to talk to yours. He's still ready to go back!

Thankful that our 3rd born is coming home from Switzerland for the holidays and that her time there so far, has been happy and safe and full of abundant memories and blessings.

Thankful that so many of RR angels are finding forever families and that generous people are lending their time, talent and treasure to raise funds to get them home.

Thankful you do this, as it continues to forces me to pause and jot down a few of my many blessings!

I am thankful that Ella has completed her chemo regimen and God willing will hopefully not have to have anymore of that poison put into her body again!!

And I am thankful for friends like you whose Christmas card is already hanging on my cupboard for me to smile at everyday!!

I could go on and on but my time on the computer is suppose to be short as I have many other things needing my attention. I just wanted to come check out some of my neglected blog friends real quick :)

I am thankful for every day I wake up feeling great, especially the day after chemo! I love the comments here, and am thankful for Rochelle giving us this opportunity!

I am thankful our prayers were answered and beautiful Alayna did so well after surgery.

I am thankful for my family, especially my kids and my parents. They keep an eye on me and keep me in line!
