Thankful Thursday

There is always, always, always something to be thankful for.

~So thankful for the way God places people in my path: new friends who are starting their adoption journey (and were approved by the agency so they should appear on the new commitments page any minute), a family who is contemplating adoption and wants to meet with me to learn more about ds so they can consider it, RR friends that are so uplifting!

~The group of people that gave up their Saturday to clean our church inside and out!

~The beautiful purple and pink blossoms on my plum tree, the green grass and the flowers that are beginning to poke their sleepy heads up through the ground.

~God continues to provide all we need and more.

~I can now officially say Alayna walks more than she crawls!  She loves to walk away and have us say, "where are you going?" she giggles, looks over her shoulder and keeps on walking...(ignore the goofy mommy sing song voice!)

What are you thankful for this week?  Come on share one OR two!!!

Love the video...so precious when lil' ones first "get their walking legs".

This week I'm thankful for warmer weather and I am still praising God over Christie's news about being able to still go forward with their adoption.

Way to go Alayna! High fives from Matthew and high-pitched cheers from Elizabeth.

I am thankful for Matthew and Elizabeth, who make me smile everyday.

Woo hoo Alayna! Addy still takes 6-8 steps (on a good run) and totally bales! Can't wait to see you Saturday!

Sweet!! I need to do a Thankful blog post, too. There are always sooooo many things at any one given time. Great post.

isn't it the best having the independence that walking brings???!!! i asked our physical therapist last week how long she thought whitney would walk like a drunk, blown over by a stiff breeze or someone walking by her... but it doesn't matter - walking just puts a smile on her face. i love how when alayna was walking her whole goal was to talk over and hug your leg!!! that is the best!!!
