Aw, Rochelle, I'm so, so sorry. :-( It's so hard to lose pets, and he was obviously a big part of all of your lives. How are the kids handling things?

So sorry to hear of Champ's passing. Our pets are so much a part of our lives and leave a true void. Hope you are finding comfort in each other. There is a children's picture book called "The Ten Good Things About Barney" or close to it and tells how a family deals with their cat's death. Maybe a bit advanced for the girls but a book to read with Aiden for talking and maybe writing a list as a family.
