Thankful Thursday

When you are grateful fear disappears and abundance appears
~Anthony Robbins
~Celebrations big and BIGGER!  Aidan turns 8 tomorrow, bless him as we celebrate his life.

~We are so grateful for Jesus Christ who died for our sins, yes, I sin every single day (I know you are shocked you thought I was perfect LOL), so thankful that he forgives me and I am a child of God.  We will celebrate Easter morning with the understanding that Jesus did rise from that grave and for that we are eternally thankful.

~A glimmer of hope with USCIS, we MIGHT be assigned an officer tomorrow (Good Friday, oh wouldn't that be awesome)?  Please continue to pray for this, we have been waiting in line since March 9th.

~Alayna is such a social butterfly.  She loves knowing people's names.  She goes around talking about all her school buddies all day long.  Eli, LC, "ordan" (Jordan), "Avvv" (Avery), "NNN" (Ian), and of course "Jssss" (Jace, even though he isn't in her class).  The other day at Aidan's soccer practice she went up to all the parents and said, (pointing at herself) "Alayna" then pointed to each of them as if to say "what's your name"  They all complied and told her their names.  LOL

Here I come to get you!
~Over 175 families are in process with Reece's Rainbow right now!  Many families are adopting more than one child.  WOO HOO for over 200 soon to be orphans no more!  Please pray for all these families and all the kids who don't have families yet!

What are you thankful for?  Share at least one!!!

it's getting that I can't get through your thankfuls without tearing up. I can just picture Miss A telling you all about her new friends. Too cute!

And my thankful is that the stress of Miss Em going to school has been eased a bit. When we had our meet and greet at home with the school dept, she more than agreed that Em should attend the school I wanted her to and also said she was going to get her into a certain teachers class. A very good teacher! WHEW!

and a very happy birthday to Aidan, who I do believe is one of the best big brothers in the world! have a wonderful day and many, many blessings!!

Happy Birthday Aidan!
Alayna is so cute asking everyone their names.
I am so amazed at all the families that are saving these precious children. What a blessing you all are.

We hope our honorary big brother has the BEST day tomorrow and feels celebrated to a ridiculous degree.

I will also expect my favorite chatterbox to be diligently working on the mouthful that is COURTNEY. And, while she's at it, perhaps she could work on some vocalization coaching for LC and Jssss since LC's favorite way to get my attention lately is to slap me sharply across the face and point to what she wants. Charming.

We're thankful for your Thursday posts and for every hour that passes bringing Dariya closer to a home that's better than her sweetest dreams.

Amazing that so many families are chosing adoption! One less orphan is a beautiful thing!

Happy Birthday Aidan!!
I am thankful that it's almost Saturday and I can take Matthew to swim class at the Y. He's been asking everyday, several times a day.

Lots to be thankful for! I love the story about Alayna being so social. That is so cute! The picture of her is adorable. I am praying that you will be assigned an officer tomorrow! Good Friday would be a glorious day for that to happen.
