Going green.

Has anyone seen Aidan?

Jason & Aidan took on the project of building us a rain barrel this weekend so we can store up rain water and use it to water our plants and yard.

As you can see they did a great job and with the rain we received this morning we should be able to water for the rest of the week. The parts cost about $10. I know we will save way more than that on our water bill.

Way to go guys, one more way we can help our environment.

As it was in the 90's Alayna & I decided to hang out inside and just check on the boys every now and then.

Success, Aidan didn't get stuck in the barrel but, we won't tell you who did!

Great Project! That is one thing about the NE, we usually get enough rain, and/or it is not as hot so we usually don't have to water much....but perhaps that is why my flowers always die - because I actually believe that =)

How funny! They are growing up so fast!!!And great idea to save the environment! I know I get on Ryans nerves as I try to do my best to use earth friendly products around our house....

Oh, Daddy-Son projects look like so much fun! If Aiden didn't get stuck, and since you wrote about it, it must not have been YOU to get stuck... Little Alayna is too CUTE to get stuck... Hmm- I wonder who that leaves???

And you said it only cost $10, not twice that, so I'm assuming that jaws of life or other extracting instruments were not required in the removal of said supervisory figure...
