My grandmother turned 97 on Saturday. To celebrate we gathered around her, showered her with flowers and cards and a great ice cream cake. 
Aidan played her happy birthday on the piano (then had to play all his whole repertoire of songs he has learned so far). Great grandma and the rest of the nursing home folks loved it!
Alayna had a few smiles for great grandma and a few giggles (note she was laughing in the picture with her eyes closed) then she was off to enjoy some ice cream cake with Pop Pop (a girl after my own heart =)!Happy birthday Grandma, we love you!

So so so awesome. I have so many memories with my great-grandparents- I've always said that I wished my husband could have met them. So cool when kids can have a chance to know them!
Oh how wonderful! Reminds me of how much I miss mine.
How great! She doesn't look a day over 70! My grandma was dancing to the music at her 94th birthday!
