Bringing Dariya home: Hangin' out at Dulles

We were blessed with a friend from church who happened to be going to the airport to pick up her mother at the same time we needed to be there.  This made goodbyes so much easier on us and the kids.  As our flight left at 12:30 that would have messed Alayna's nap schedule all up.

Alayna was bouncing on the trampoline and hardly would get off to give us hugs and kisses.  She went straight back to bouncing with Grandma watching.  Aidan gave us hugs and we shed a few tears then off we went.  Thankfully our neighbors had him over to slip and slide which always makes you smile!

We had a great flight to Dulles and are awaiting our connecting flight to Munich. We will arrive in Munich about 1am central time then board our final flight for U know where.  We will arrive in the capital city around breakfast time for our US friends.

We will be blogging and posting them to FB along our journey to bring Dariya home.  Hope you are able to follow us on this journey.  We will have internet access so comments and emails I am sure will be worth their weight in gold while we are in a country where nobody speaks our language.

So excited for you. Its definitely weird to not be able to communicate, but it gets easier, and the drivers, especially Niko, are great. Can't wait to hear how your flights were!

Thinking of and praying for you guys. I just looked at the pictures of Dariya and it brought a smile to my heart. What a really cool thing that you and Jason are doing. This is truly an example of "Changing lives with Jesus' love".
